How about those Canucks?

I often hear my honey says this comment as a joke. I'm not even sure what it means when the topic has nothing to do with hockey or the Canucks in particular. Being a Filipina around a man with a dry sense of humour, there's a lot to learn on "humour etiquette": when and when not to laugh is number one. Well, last night's game was not any joke. The morning news today showed sad faces and none of the cheering crowd downtown Vancouver as they showed everywhere from their winning game. Viewers had different opinions as to why it happened that way but to those who watched the game and who fully understand a true Canadian heart, like my honey, there's another day. They just lost this one game, for goodness' sake. Give them a break!

Anyhow, aside from the sense of humour, there are terminologies that I still cannot fathom. That encyclopedia set I showed here yesterday should come in handy but because I only have a few minutes, and I'm on Blogpress ( who knows where this post is going?), I will have to invent my own interpretation based on the words: High Angle. That's the phot of the day and if you my dear friends, know or have better interpretation, please leave me a comment. I would highly appreciate it and will also give you a full credit if you send me your blog's url, deal?

For no further ado, here are my photos for today's assignment. I took them yesterday while taking a walk and sunny. You won't believe how gloomy it is now.

These guys are some main attraction in the summer. If you love street market, please come and visit Parksville. By then, their hair has fully grown :)....

And this is right beside it: the new Petal and Kettle. It has changed since I saw Karen, the owner the first day she opened the shop. She is doing a great job with her displays which I silently took a picture of while she's at the back.

Watch out when you suspect an Asian look-alike being sneaky. You just might be right getting caught on tape. Have a fun Tuesday!
