Party with Seniors!, a set on Flickr.

Wonder how we ended up with a party like it? Guess being married to someone that has anything to do with contruction is the way it is. In fact, would love to throw one like it on his 50th this year. But man! can't even keep up with his friends, let alone a crowd of goodlooks/handsome folks like last nights! Check out my new app too if you have IPhone or Ipad: Photo Toaster! Cool app, cool crowd, cool party... fun!

the 3rd party we had this January! whew! and this was different: country music, oldies but goodies, giveaways, lots of food and the only Filipina and Dominica among all the whites! Fun!

Reminiscing Summer 2011

Happy Sunday! I don't know about you but down here on the island, snowflakes are pouring out there again after it dried out yesterday! So here I am glued at photos, sending them out to print to continue on with Project Life but I thought I'd share my new finds with you. Apparently, I'm not just a hoarder but both of us are also photo hoarders and my honey just downloaded lots of videos and photos that we haven't even seen from his Video Cam. So just to get away from this damp, cold, snowy weather, here are some random ones I like from different events we had in the summer last year... hope you'll enjoy them as much as we do!
Captain Al, our chef for the evening on our last visit of Moonshadow.
Sous chef, Linda, always the generous hostess...
Get together is never the same with no sparkles!
Our Tofino wedding anniversary with Don and Teri. Miss you guys!
One of the many adventures we had here in Parksville. Beachcomber.
Madly in love with this wooden bench!
If you can't find me, chances are am out in the fields....
or kneeling and buried on something down the ground!
Can't wait for summer... I love snow but when it melts, it gets yucky!
Have a great week ahead folks!

Project Life- Week1

JUst wanted to share my week 1 and week 2 is on its way. Still have to finish some photo printing and that will be on the way. So wanna look?
So this is the back page where we left off last time...
just a photo right after we did the toast on New Year's eve with out friends.
It was our first New Year to celebrate it outside our home together.
For the inserts, I just printed my365 photos on a cardstock
as an overview of my first and a half week. I love that Jenni Bowlin day stamp
and it comes out so well with instagram photos using Tim Holts Distress ink.
I'm so glad that I ordered more of these AM thickers @ SC!
The back page.... with brief journaling like my365.
And this will be my first week and my little word...
I got these journaling cards fr Peachy cheap which I will use till I run out!
And this is our 1st Saturday of Jan in 2 spread,
which is all about our company's annual party...
and all the tidbits I hoarded at the party and the resort we stayed in.
I have the big poster of the party's announcement
as an insert which I haven't really finished.
I think I got carried away printing photos with my Polaroid here
but it's the process that matters. I am enjoying every bit of it
and as much as I can take photos, I will because I know,
that there will be times that life will get in the way.
Well, I guess that's it for now.
PS>There are these boxes laying all over when I got home
that my honey was showing me. Hmm, can you guess?
till tomorrow....

Project Life Begins!

Yoohoo!
Yes, I'm officially in and there's no stopping me. I'm usually good at starting projects but going through the project this morning, it hit me that this is my type of project.
Things I like about it:
1. Sleeves and different sizes of sleeves where I can just insert anything and call it done!
2. My polaroid printer helps a great deal! It might be too expensive but I get the photos done right away and I don't have to wait for days to have them printed in bulk. Thanx, hon!
3. I can even cut my 6*8 or 8*8 photos which I usually order when in good deals and fit them in the sleeves like Ms. KP's idea here. Thanks, Ms. Kelly. You are a big part of the motivation I am in right now and thank you for such a great idea!
4. I didn't get any kind of pp's as far as the kit but I ordered lots of sleeves and the Clementine album. I just want to go through my stash and maybe get more blades for my trimmer and get those going.
5. And yes! got my starting page done and 1st week is almost on its way + 2nd week in progress. Thank you for all the inspiration Ms. Becky Higgins. I get to see lots on your tweets and just full of ideas out there.
The lighting isn't that good in his office...
But it's done!
And here's one in progress.....
Be back for more soon....
Have a great weekend and happy scrapping me!

Sneak a peek on my project!

Are you kidding me?! Project Life?! I can't believe it!!!
 And it's addictive...
 I can't stop myself...
I love that I have all these pretty Amy's goodies...
But this is all for now, I will share the whole 1st week
once I get my photos done properly.
Right now, this is the state I'm in and I can't find anything!
I had to move to my honey's office to work peacefully.
Will be back once I get this all sorted out.
Specially with another SC box that just came in yesterday.
Peace....
