Happy mid-Monday!

Another week and we're almost at the end of this month! Whew! where did the time go? Where was I? It seems to be too short and soon, it will be another year over! Quick, grab your cameras and take pictures. It's the only way you can save those happy memories. Enjoy while you are on the process too, ok. So to celebrate today, I am doing another class with the rest of the craftworld, called, "A Week in the Life" by the very famous, Ms. Ali Edwards. I followed this through one week of April last year here, but never had the chance to bind all my photos that I had printed all together. But this time, I have my album set for this project so hope to share them with you by next week, maybe..... Meanwhile, here's an update on my "playbook" at Shimelle's class, Explore. She's actually doing a back to back (sort of..) with Ali this week (fun!), so we are supposed to take photos of where we "Sleep, Sit and Stand". So I took photos of these areas for today's prompt at the same time for this new project. Catching up is my last week's

And here's a collage of today's prompt....

And a few photos of what's going on in that area right now.....
Hope you are having a great start to the week so far. Till next time and thanks for viewing...
Pssst! did I tell you that the deer found its way to the scarlet runners?

Explore a New Class

Good Monday morning! It's been a while since my last post. Hope you all had a very good weekend. Not much is happening here in our little world except for my honey doing a lot of work in the yard, renos downstairs while I stare at my scraproom a lot more than usual! Oh the garden is happy if you may ask. Except for 2 rainy weeks and one pot of tomatoes got chewed up mostly by the deer ( I knew they're going to get there somehow- just a matter of time....;), all is well. I have photos of our latest veggies and roses but because of this big reno going on downstairs, my photos have to wait. For now, I will use some that I took with my smarty phones. Ok, down to business. Did I mention about me staring a lot at my scraproom? Well, I did some organizing, mostly going through my boxes of SC like usual but this time with projects assigned. Oh, am I so proud of myself! If, a big IF I get through on assigned projects, there are supposed to be 6, again SIX albums to be done by October. Sounds like a big commitment. Huh! We'll see who heads out the door first. Hence, this new class. Ms. Pretty Shimelle "genius" Lane is doing another NEW class starting today. I wonder where she gets her ideas? I want her brain. Seriously, she's a teacher who comes up with a very impressive class. I just admire her. Anyways, below is what I committed to our first prompt of the day. " I love the first prompt and I was prepared for the unexpected. I set aside my new Smash pink book for this class which came with my Sc subscription this month. I signed -up for this class with more dedication to exploring my inner self on creativity- no plots or scripts. I will just go along with the flow but I did set aside a group of supplies for projects that I intend to finish with the help of this class. I am still thinking on how to put this all together on my blog but I do intend to journal all in my "playbook". I have a few recent portraits printed already so I will use one of them for now. Usually in the past, the photos are the main cause of why I procrastinate but bec I want to jot down my thoughts already, I will just smash everything today on my playbook as the day progresses. I will blog it once I have a photo taken of the finished product. " And after a few hours, still in my jammies (thank God it's my day-off!), here are the photos I promised taken by my work Android phone:

I love this smash book and the first 2 pages worked perfectly well to write down my workbook for the first week's prompts. I think I did mention the computer being disconnected downstairs including the printer of course.....

For today's photo is a portrait with your camera so here it is with a "Note to Self". I'm not sure of the source but I have been holding to this list of Ten Traits of a Successful Artist and I believe that in everyone of us, there is an artist within. Ms. Lesley Riley allows us to share it so if you want a copy for yourself, just click the link here. I typed it with my old typewriter that my honey got for me @a garage sale so might as well get that baby to work. I think this list says it all as to why I want to EXPLORE this new class. If you want to join, there's never a deadline on any Shimelle's class. Click the link for more information. Hasta maƱana.....
