A Week in the Life- Saturday

Final day and where did the time go?
How did we do?
What would we change if we have time left?
 What memories would we keep?
 What else would we accomplish?
 When is the best time?
When is the time a best time?
 Who would do it?
Who is the person would inspire you to do it?
OBSERVATION:
I used Ali's sheets today recording my activities.
Surprisingly, I was able to fill it up and did not
take a lot of photos like I did the last 5 days!
I found myself reflecting a lot:
how time goes by so fast when there are many
things going on in your life.
I think July was a great month for us:
we saw a lot of friends and families who came to
visit us on the Island; we have our garden still blooming,
saw a lot of blossoms that we didn't in the past bec of deer;
busy at work but more communication with families;
some heat of summer days and rain;
nice projects like this and Shimelle's.
I hope to have a great August and yours too.
till tomorrow....
HAPPY BC DAY!

A Week in the Life- Friday

Oh, no.... it's Friday already!
another 2 days and WITL photos are over.
Another day then it's long weekend.... yay!
Today I woke up with the kitchen shining so bright...
Today was another good day to let the morning air in....
 Today was definitely watering day....
Today the deck was enjoyable to have our morning coffee.
Today was garbage and recycling day...
Today I had time to water the hothouse too....
Today I had a pile of glasses to wash....

Today I want to share how I keep my jewelry clean all the time:
I take them off whenever I apply lotion and do dirty dishes.
Today these deer stunned me on my way from lunch...
Although they ate the runner beans today,
I still think they are cute and they deserve to live.
Today the sky was blue and had white puffy clouds...
And because I closed and open tomorrow,
I'd better vacuum the office today.
That's me today after work hours....
It always feels nice to be home...
And feels relaxed to get out of working clothes.
Today I felt zapped and wanted to take a nap.
But got up excited to see my honey home today.
He also picked up Ken's, the neighbor's garbage today.
And get us a bottle of beer each...
Today was a good day to stay at the basement.
to have some prepared dip and not cook....
And just have a store bought pizza for dinner.
Today was also a good day to check the plants...
and water them again because of the heat.
it's also a good lighting to take more photos...
of other plants we have at the back....
and of those blackberries climbing from the neighbor.
 Today was a beautiful sunset...
OBSERVATION:
No matter how tired and busy the day goes,
taking photos and watching them at the end of the day,
just give me a sense of fulfillment.
I can see if I need to be more creative,
I can tell if I enjoyed taking the shot,
I can cease the day, savour it for a while,
even if it means the day is already over.
Have a great weekend!

A Week in the Life- Thursday

Hello Thursday photos!
I actually got up here to get the camera.
I was up earlier because of the garbage truck making a lot of noise.
Something about noise, I hear them in my sleep and wake me up.
Today I had to start watering the tomatoes up on the deck,
before anything else. When you are out of routine,
you tend to forget to do what was supposed to be
in the first place. That's what happened yesterday!
Poor tomatoes!
 We take our glass of water to bed at night;
we're still missing two from what was accumulated...
Finally, my first cup of coffee and checking my inbox.
My honey had to leave early so it's an early shake too.
 Can you find me?
At lunch, I check the mails before or after on my way.
Then I add more notes on my playbook: today's prompt,
Shimelle wanted us to document our day. So far so good.
No wonder he didn't answer his phone!
It was another tough day at work. System was down,
it has been the past two weeks so we struggled a lot.
What happened when computers were not around?
Beach time the first time. My honey was eager to take a plunge.
So we drove there just for a quick one.
Chips for a starving me....
The clouds are coming and the water cooler.
 Happy seagulls flying over me....
 And there he was, enjoying...
 ?
Gotta get closer, can't tell what he's doing.
I was trying to take a jump but the timer was too quick.
 Our stuff....
Time to pack up, the water was getting cooler.
 more chips....
The Annual Sandcastle fest is on, and this stand
is a new thing. We haven't seen inside since the last one.
On our way home, this baby deer was searching
his way home too.
OBSERVATION:
This project makes me take more photos of myself.
Usually, I take more photos of him and stuff.
It's ok to pose once in a while in front of the camera,
and sometimes, that's all you need to get photos
that will make you happier like this one as we were leaving.
Especially if you have to take a lot then download them,
watch them for a while, pick the decent ones at least,
blog them to keep up which takes about an hour at least!
Until tomorrow.....
