Our Brunchdate at the Airport

They are open! We've been back and forth this place and we finally got lucky yesterday that it's back in business.

Different owners, but it's still the same view, similar atmosphere: people talking about airplanes, flight experience, friendly, relaxed and great service by Ms. Sher...

The food was slightly different but you know the happy feeling after you eat? That's how I felt before, during and after, and I seldom get lucky feeling this way altogether, in all places we go for a meal.

I had their famous Veggie clubhouse: tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, alfalfa sprouts and some cheese, but my favorite was the sausage soup of the day. Reminds me of grandma's homemade beef soup, yum! He had the Chicken clubhouse with homemade fries. Really good to the last bite!

My honey has a lot of good interesting stories to tell about flying and today was not an exemption. The gentlemen sitting next to us somehow found things in common with him, that all three ended up talking about each of their flying stories. One of them is the price you pay for a pie when you fly to Chilliwack and thank God we live closeby.

Meanwhile, I indulged myself to this silky chocolate cake with berry syrup while listening, with and aahs to their stories...

I ate too much! But my tummy was happy. Sher made sure I had enough hot water for my tea and even added more cream to our dessert. I do hope she'll be there next time...

We'll definitely be back and this time, it will be the pie for dessert!
