Something about December.....

In my little world, December for me feels overwhelming and the more I think about it, the tinier I shrink! I guess because I put a lot more pressure to myself for no apparent reason. I wish I can be like the children of big smiles and excitement, that can't wait for this month to reach the 25th day. Or the adults who are well prepared and relaxed to enjoy each day as it goes....

Am I the only one? Anyone? Work takes up so much time of our life that it hasn't given me enough time most esp to blog. While everyone's I read around the blog world is filled with so much anticipation and light hearted topics in their lives, mine is filled with all kinds of stories at work that as far as I know, only my honey can handle!

Journal Your Christmas: so far I haven't. But despite it all, I will and I do try hard to. So, here's to this month, December. You are the most beautiful month to every little creature in the world. I want to embrace you; to enjoy you; to make the most of the little time I can spare. May your magical force be in my spirit and spread inspiration to anyone I can reach. Cheers to this month, my Manifesto....

And if you may ask what I've been up to during the quiet times, may I say that I've actually been more productive in my craft room compared to last year's? The weather has been acting weird like a weather and in the last days of November, we had a mix of snow, storm, strong wind and sunny weather. So that gave me all excuses to succumb to my dungeon and at least prepare this one thing: Journal Your Christmas/December Daily Album. I actually did something with my cover for the first time and completed 25 premade pages for my Christmas Album. I hope to go along with the flow each day but I can't promise if my whole album will flow together. To give you an idea, here are some peeks....

I've always wanted to have a white album so here it is, at last... painted white and sprayed with SC Mr. Huey white and sprinkled with gold glitters, sealed with mod-pudge gloss lustre.  Still contemplating if I should cover the inside of the cover or not.
1st page is the back of a chipboard calendar, SC DD kit.
Oh and I got my first prompt done this morning too.
And here's the 2nd page with no photo yet.
I want to make it simple and easy this year but again,
I will go with the flow as it goes. Hope to get some
Photos added and this time I am trying Costco for prints.
I will be adding more to this album on my flickr if you wanna see here...
Until next time, I feel better already.
Thanks for your visit and remember to enjoy each day of this special month!

Beautiful Album! I am also feeling a bit pinched for time - but it all gets done - and what doesn't will not be missed.

The album is beautiful and I do hope you find time to fill it up.
Happy December!
(And no - you are not the only one looking for the Christmas spirit).
