It's been a while since my last post of collage of photos, so to celebrate the last week of summer, I thought I'd share some of the photos we took on the Labor Day weekend with you.
It's also the weekend we celebrated our Anniversary and birthdays altogether,
and this time with Don and Teri.
Road trip to Ucleulet, BC: a spur of the moment.... Halfway the trip, we stopped by here: a very dangerous cliff in the midst of this rocky hill of clear water.
Upon arrival, we took a peek of the marina where all the fishing is done in Ucluelet....It was still early so we had time to explore 2 parks and the Pacific Ocean @ the Pacific Trail. Gorgeous!!!
We also asked around where to get fresh seafood: ours were giant crabs for dinner.Warning:very expensive!
We were lucky to get a reservation for 4 people at the Cabins for one night. 2 Floors with a jacuzzi tub.
Clean, quiet, very good atmosphere, flat screen on each bedroom and sitting room, dishwasher, washing machine even and a dryer, fully furnished kitchen and a deck and a huge barbeque. Highly recommended!
Then we drove to Tofino, just a half hour away and explored their beautiful Long Beach, where we found surfers all over places. The waves were breathtaking and a bit scary but the whole scenario was just so inviting. The weather was not as foggy as Ucleulet but each of them had their own beauty to offer to any tourist. Unfortunately, it was a short visit but now we know where to do some camping next summer.
Until then, I will miss summer. But if September stays the same as it was today,
sunny, cooler and happier people, I don't mind embracing the Fall with a big smile!.....
Until next summer, hope you enjoyed the photo trip!
