Signs of Summer

Oh, I can't wait for summer!

It's still gloomy outside but everywhere I go shows signs of summer....

I see flowers starting to bear fruits....

 like these first tomatoes and peppers

I spotted as I was watering in the morning!

 I see leaves sprouting from the grounds....

 like these peas and mixed greens

in our little garden house;

 and these beans in our newly fenced front yard.

Nothing is so refreshing to quench the thirst....

 like this new beer with its bitterly sweet taste.

 and to fill the hunger with home-made fresh baked pie

in a cool damp weather like this.

 Something about the aroma in the air outside....

 from these tiny buds,

 first time in our fenced yard;

 and the sweet smell of lavender.

I see nothing but beauty everywhere ....

 hoping that these colors will stay longer....

 wishing that this beauty will stay forever....

 or maybe keep coming once the other goes....

like these poppies in variety...

 I am so summer ready,

hoping that the sun will shine

and a little bit much longer....
