Last hot sunny day: prediction

Watching the forecast has become a daily morning routine for the majority or most specifically part of our 2 cups of wake-up coffee. As soon as Dr. Mark Madriga tells his forecast, that sets the day for us- whether we make the most of it would most likely depend on what kind of weather we're heading to. Today was supposed to be the last warmest day we'd get out of summer. My honey and I would have been thinking of lounging after work with the heat of the sun beating our faces and cold beers in our hands. It would have been the last day for that so we'd set our hearts on doing so. It wasn't the case though. We were both hard on work; did't have any solid food in my system till about 4pm. Clients after clients until finally, it was time to close the shop. For some reason, I still had energy left to entertain guests waiting for me at home. Glad to be there for them to spend some time and lend some ears and support and comfort. Glad to have done it when it's wanted and needed. Glad to have done it to people I care about and not because they are clients and because it's part of the job. Glad to see smiles on their faces as they leave our place. Glad to have that kind of feeling of appreciation with the little things you can do for others. My honey has fallen asleep and I'm ready for bed. I guess the heat is finally over. It may not have turned out how we thought of enjoying it but glad to have that one day spent again with joy. Till tomorrow folks. Nighty night.
