Yup! Christie and Ryan made it to the Island this Sunday-- yoo hoo! Isn't she lovely? I just love how pretty she looks like with her pregnancy. They both look like they are so ready to be mommy and daddy for the first time. Congratulations guys and congrats to Al and Linda for their very first grandchild! Does that mean my honey is going to be a grandaddy too? Or should we call it great uncle Kevy and great auntie Nancy?
After spending some time with grandma Iris, we managed to take a walk to the beach and watch the car show but most interestingly, some dogs like these ones....
On the other note, since this weekend is our last weekend on Shimelle's Photoshop tutorial, thought I'd give the last Saturday's lesson a try on that photo. I will miss this class. I'd say this is my most favorite by far among all Shimelle's classes I've taken. For those who are interested, you can actually sign-up at anytime, do it at your own pace, and you can get access on the class site forever. Here's my vintage version of the class:
I made this today specially for my family back home. Roses from my garden: To Arnel and Jojo, to ma and tang, and to my little sister, Grace and to Dan, who have done so much over the challenging times, I can't tell you how much I am thinking about you and how much I miss you. I really wish I am there with you right now to celebrate your homecoming, to be there for you for support and if it's any consolation for you all, I really hope to be home as promised. So promise me too that you'll stay healthy and happy. Keep the faith and love to each other. Keep strong and everything will be alright.
.... TO SMILE!
