My Two Days Off with my Honey

Since the start of summer, I hardly get two days off in a row. Aside from the locals, tourists have been keeping us busy at work and my boss told me that we should treat this as our Christmas, the busiest month of the year. That makes summer go by so fast so I'll say it again, I want to make the most of my free time, be it here in the blog world or out with my honey. So yesterday, after fighting with Blogger on my long post for most of the day, my honey managed to drag me away from home and took me somewhere by surprise. He had the kayak tied up on his truck and there we went......
For golf enthusiasts and boat owners, or who simply love the water and nature, you should be familiar with this sign once you enter Nanoose Bay
Lots of things to do here esp at summer time but I love the hike on cooler months. So off we went.

You can tell how rough the tide was. But I kept stirring,  paddling the wrong way.
Did I tell you that this place is called the Brickyard Bay? The history began before the 1900s and you'll find a lot of these pieces of red bricks in the water from years ago.
We sat there for a while and watched this.....
Today we decided to slow down since I hurt my foot to bleed- not on those rocks or bricks or rough oyster shells, but by the center table in the living room while fooling around with the camera back and forth the couch last night, watching this animated show about Mary and her friend that died in the end, happy.
Keep safe.....

Beautiful Nancy. I'm glad you finally got two days off in a row to enjoy yourself. One day just doesn't cut it!!!
Hope we see you sometime soon.
